Anastasia von Seibold Japanese Art offers Japanese woodblock prints and works of art from antiquity to contemporary to collectors worldwide. Anastasia is based at Cromwell Place, an innovative hub for international galleries, collectors, advisors, foundations and art businesses in London's museum district of South Kensington. 

 

Anastasia joined Christie's Japanese department in London in 2006, rising to Senior Specialist in Japanese art and Head of Sale, Europe. Over a fifteen year career she oversaw the sale at auction of many important Japanese works of art, as well as establishing an extremely successful yearly online sale dedicated to Japanese prints. 

 

Before joining Christie's, Anastasia obtained a BA in Japanese from Edinburgh University which included one year at Waseda University, Tokyo, followed by a Master's degree in Japanese Art History from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.

 

Anastasia is a member of The Ukiyo-e Dealers Association of Japan, and of Asian Art in London. She travels regularly to Japan and internationally and welcomes enquiries regarding the purchase or sale of prints or works of art, collecting advice, appraisals, as well as search requests.
