Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858)

A group of 18th and 19th century Japanese prints and rare books from a distinguished private collection are the focus of the exhibition at Anastasia von Seibold Japanese art this autumn.

Exhibition in London of Japanese woodblock prints. Presenting a selection of Japanese woodblock prints featuring landscapes of Japan as seen through the eyes of 19th and 20th century artists Utagawa Hiroshige, Katsushika Hokusai and Kawase Hasui.

The exhibition brings together a selection of fine Japanese art from the Edo period (1615-1868) to the present day. Including woodblock prints by Hokusai, Hiroshige and Kunisada, lacquer, folding screens and contemporary paintings.
