Limited edition seal to the reverse stating that the print was published by Kyoto publisher Sato Shotaro in an edition of 200, this being number 46/200
41.3 x 27.7 cm. (16 ¼ x 10 ⅞ in.)
Very good impression and colour, some toning, light soiling in a few places, top right corner and bottom left corner with tear restored, a few further small repairs, slight wear to paper edges and slight smudging to limited edition seal on the reverse.

A young woman leans over the side of a pleasure boat, pensively trailing her hand in the water covered with fallen cherry blossoms.

In 1924 the Kyoto publisher Sato Shotaro issued two series by Miki Suizan - the first comprising eight prints depicting landscapes of Kyoto and the second comprising six prints depicting beauties. The eight prints of 'New Selection of Noted Places of Kyoto, (First Series)' were all in horizontal format and the six prints of 'New Selection of Noted Places of Kyoto, (Second Series)' were all in vertical format..
